Data Protection Information for Sales Inquiries

This data protection information is to inform you about the purposes for which, on what legal basis, for how long, and with the aid of which service providers ("Recipients") we process your (personal) data, and what rights you (may) have as a data subject.

Sales Inquiries

​

For the coordination and response to sales inquiries, we process the data you provide in the online sales inquiry, as well as the identification number generated by us, including any related correspondence.

​

The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, and the legal basis for this is therefore Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. The provision of personal data is necessary for the conclusion of the contract, so that the sales inquiry cannot be processed if the data is not provided.

To coordinating and responding to sales inquiries, we work with the following service providers who process your personal data on our behalf, for us and our purposes – but not for their own purposes. These processors are the following:

What Rights Do You Have?

​

  • Right to Withdraw Consent:

​

To the extent that the processing is based on (explicit) consent, the data subject has the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on the consent until withdrawal. A process for exercising consent is described in the relevant declarations of consent. In any case, you can withdraw your consent by contacting us using the contact details provided at the very top.

  • Right to Information/Access:

​

Every data subject has the right to request confirmation from the controller as to whether personal data relating to him or her is being processed; if this is the case, the data subject has a right of access to this personal data (a copy of the personal data that is the subject of the processing) and to the following information: (a) the purposes of the processing; (b) the categories of personal data being processed; (c) the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients in third countries or international organizations; (d) if possible, the planned duration for which the personal data will be stored or, if this is not possible, the criteria for determining that duration; (e) the existence of a right to rectification or erasure of personal data concerning them or to restriction of processing by the controller or a right to object to such processing; (f) the existence of a right of appeal to a supervisory authority; (g) if the personal data are not collected from the data subject, any available information on the origin of the data; (h) the (non-)existence of automated decision-making, including profiling. The controller shall provide a copy of the personal data undergoing processing. For any further copies requested by the data subject, the controller may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs. If the data subject makes the request by electronic means, the information shall be provided in a commonly used electronic format, unless the data subject requests otherwise.

  • Right to Rectification and Erasure (Right to be Forgotten):

​

The data subject has the right to obtain from the controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her. Considering the purposes of the processing, the data subject has the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement. Furthermore, the data subject has the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay and the controller shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay where one of the following grounds applies: (a) the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed; (b) the data subject withdraws consent on which the processing is based, and there is no other legal ground for the processing; (c) the data subject objects (see below) to the processing; (d) the personal data have been unlawfully processed; (e) the personal data have to be erased for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject; (f) the personal data have been collected in relation to the offer of information society services (consent of a child). The right to erasure does not exist to the extent that the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation of the controller, or for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller, and/or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

  • Right to Restriction of Processing:

​

The data subject has the right to obtain from the controller restriction of processing where one of the following applies: (a) the accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject, for a period enabling the controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data; (b) the processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests the restriction of their use instead; (c) the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims; or (d) the data subject has objected to processing pending the verification whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the data subject. Where processing has been restricted, such personal data shall, except for storage, only be processed with the data subject's consent or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the Union or of a Member State. A data subject who has obtained restriction of processing shall be informed by the controller before the restriction of processing is lifted.

  • Right to Data Portability:

​

Where the processing is based on consent or on a contract and the processing is carried out by automated means, the data subject has the right to receive the personal data that the data subject has provided to the controller in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. In exercising the right to data portability, the data subject has the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from one controller to another, where technically feasible.

  • Right to Object:

​

The data subject has the right to object, on grounds relating to the data subject’s particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning them which is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller, or which is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party. The controller will then no longer process the personal data unless the controller demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. Where personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, the data subject has the right to object at any time to processing of personal data concerning them for such marketing. Where the data subject objects to processing for direct marketing purposes, the personal data will no longer be processed for such purposes.

  • Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority:

​

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, every data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in the Member State of his or her habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement if the data subject considers that the processing of personal data relating to him or her infringes these legal requirements.
